Assessment and Allocations Coordinator Vacancy
Calan DVS is recruiting for an Assessment and Allocations Coordinator to support the domestic abuse team within our South Powys community and refuge projects.
This is a new and exciting post that will require an experienced and dynamic team player who is passionate in their approach to supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic team player who will be responsible for assessing and referring new clients to the appropriate services and providing a triage service to victims who are waiting to access support. The post holder will need to be flexible and prepared to support the different projects across Calan when required.
You will have experience in liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies, a minimum of 2 years working with vulnerable adults/children/families and as a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field or willingness to work towards one, i.e. social care or health. contract management and You will have a passion to support Calan to achieve its strategic aims to increase and diversify our current programmes to help drive forward our continuous development and success.
You will have vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and be able to demonstrate a passion to provide service excellence which is non-judgmental and respectful of diversity.
